Press Release - State College, PA

NCAA Division I wrestling stand-out Paul Bradley (5-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has been chosen as a cast member for "The Ultimate Fighter 7."

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) recently confirmed the news with multiple sources close to the fighter. However, the selection was first reported by Sam Caplan at fiveouncesofpain.com.

"The Ultimate Fighter 7," which debuts April 2 on Spike TV, features UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson and season-one winner Forrest Griffin as coaches. The show will feature 16 middleweight fighters vying for a UFC contract. The show began taping in Las Vegas this week.

Bradley, 24, is a former high school state wrestling champion (and two-time state runner-up) who earned a scholarship to the University of Iowa, a collegiate-wrestling powerhouse. There, the two-time All-American (at 184 lbs.) finished second at the 2004 Big Team Championships and fourth in 2005. He posted a career mark of 77-37.

Bradley, who turned pro in October 2006, spent some time training with Pat Miletich's team in Iowa. He is now a part of C-4 MMA (formerly Damage Incorporated), a Midwest-based team. Like most C-4 fighters, Bradley launched his MMA career with the Indianapolis-based Legends of Fighting organization, one of the country's top regional promotions, where he was the organization's amateur middleweight champion before turning pro.

Of Bradley's five professional victories, two have come via submission, two from knockouts, and one was a majority decision. His latest victory was over Mike Van Meer (22-20), a veteran fighter he knocked out in the third round.
